“You can have shrimp, though? And eggs? We can have pasta? How about salad?”
There, again, are the questions. I’ve answered many times. “No, shellfish are fish. Eggs aren’t good, either. Not a pasta fan. You mean antipasto? No.”
So, I leave my card. I live on a diet of grains, pulses, legumes, nuts, seeds, vegetables, fruits, fungi, algae, yeast and other non-animal-based foods, with or without, dairy products and honey. I don’t eat anything made with by-products of living or dead animals.
And now I know who I truly matter to when we sit down for a nice meal.
