“You were there that day in the woods; that’s the only way I can explain any of this.  But how did you know I would be the one to find the key? I didn’t even know what it was for, but I knew I had to keep it safe.  It was an instinct, deeply wired into my subconscious. And then I reached down to pick up the object, and I pressed the key onto my bare skin over my heart, and there it burned its mark into me, forever.  So, now are you going to tell me what the hell this is all about?”
